Kronikk fra første tre måneder eller om prestasjonsangst hos en nybakt mor

Jeg visste ikke hvordan det blir hjemme når lille kommer til verden. Vi var spent på hvordan babyen blir og hva som skjer fremover.

Dessverre etter en graviditet fra himmelen, ble det fødselen fra helvete som mannen min sa. Jeg ble i så dårlig form og jeg knapt kunne bevege meg de første 2 ukene.

Vi er så heldige å få en veldig god jente, som er kosete og snill. Den første måneden var vår datter mest rolig med å sove på meg, og da ble jeg «sperret» fra å gjøre noe. Samt at lille ville ha kos og oppmerksomhet når hun ikke sov, så det var ikke mye jeg kunne gjøre i huset. Pga. jobbsituasjonen hos Espen måtte han være på jobb (dvs. ingen 2-ukers permisjon), og da ble jeg alene i huset med lille «gi meg kos hele tiden»-frøken.

Til min frustrasjon følger jeg på Instagram en russisk superkvinne-landbruksfrue som har fått baby nesten samtidig med meg. Hennes daglige oppdateringer ga meg prestasjonsangst. Påstanden hennes var at hun ikke får hjelp fra andre. Hun kunne med en nyfødt baby på en dag klippe plen, stelle busker, gå på tur med hundene, mate kalkun og høner, mate fisker i dammen, plukke grønsaker, jobbe, ordne tre retters middag og lage syltetøy for neste 12 måneder, samt poste flere poster på Instagram.

Jeg kunne i beste fall gå på toalettet, pusse tenner og kanskje spise lunsj, hvis jeg var heldig.

Huset ble ikke vasket på en måned og til middag var en Grandiosa (hold baby – spis en bit -hold baby – middager). Vår fine hage ble til en  blanding av ørken og jungel. Slik var den første måneden hos oss. Jeg begynte å føle meg som en dårlig husmor; hvis andre klarer så mye, hvorfor klarer ikke jeg – slike tanker kom ofte. Heldigvis har jeg en venninne som har barn, hun roet meg ned og sa at eneste jeg må gjøre er å sove når jeg får tid, og ikke tenke på husholdningen.

Så kom endelig mammaen min på besøk. Det ble så godt! Når jeg fortalte mamma om prestasjonsangst pga husarbeid og den russiske «ideelle mor-husmor», fikk jeg et godt svar. Mamma lurte på om kvinnen hadde 50 timer i døgnet, da hun mente det var vanskelig å gjennomføre for en person uten baby. Det viktigste som jeg fikk høre var at jeg er en supermamma, fordi vårt barn hadde det bra og jeg gjorde mitt beste for vår lille.

En måned med besøk gikk alt for fort, det var så god hjelp både med baby og huset. Samtidig så jeg hvor fort dattera vår vokser, hun begynte å bli en selvstendig jente! Nå er det tre måneder siden vi fikk henne og det er ekstremt stor forskjell allerede!

Selv om hun trenger mye oppmerksomhet, klarer Anna å aktivisere seg selv. Så ja, huset er ikke 100 % rundvasket, men jeg kan spise mat og skrive i bloggen 🙂

 

Det viktigste jeg forstod er at alle er forskjellige, alle kan ha ulik helsetilstand etter fødselen, alle barn er også forskjellige, men man skal ikke sammenligne seg med de andre. Det er ikke et sterilt hus og 3-retters middager som teller, men smilet fra en lykkelig baby.

    Du er fantastisk og sinnsyk morsom! Når det kommer til å vaske og rydde gjør jeg det ca en gang i måneden jeg også. Uten barn. Men jeg er også vokst opp i det roteste hjemme jeg kjenner til, med støv over alt. Og i motsetning til alle venninnene mine som har diverse allergier, har jeg og søskene mine ingen. Vel, melk begynner å komme nå, men det er arvelig belastet.
    Det viktigste er at du har gode nok venner som kan komme på besøk selv om kjøkkenet ikke ser ut!
